At the time of reviewing the site, it contained 356 datasets from 50 NSW Government agencies, from Ambulance Service of NSW to WorkCover NSW.
The datasets are accessible in different ways, depending on the type of data. For example numbers that you want to crunch are available as Excel or csv, but data that you may want to access live is available via a web service or an API.
Given that seeing people use their mobiles while driving sends me mad, I decided to look into the Mobile Phone Offences dataset provided by the Office of State revenue, here: http://data.nsw.gov.au/data/dataset/mobile-phone-offenses
After some fun with Excel I got this, comparing fines between 14/15 and 15/16 Financial Years.
