I have founded, grown and sold a successful software company here in sunny Sydney. For more details check out Brad Deveson's LinkedIn profile. Now I've got time to relax and put back into the local scene. Also the Spanish startup scene but that's a different story.
Here's me saying hello on LinkedIn.
The Sydney startup scene is crowded with people trying their best to make a go of it. Co-working spaces like Fishburners and the Sydney Startup Hub are buzzing, and the Universities are also heavily involved, like Incubate (University of Sydney) and UNSW Founders.
I spend time meeting with founders in this busy scene and seem to have found a niche as:
As well, over time I seem to have absorbed a lot of random "stuff" that has proved useful to some founders. I've also been able to introduce some founders to people in my network.
So if you fit the bill (Sydney startup needing some sort of an on demand second brain) drop me a line.
I know you're cash-strapped so there's no cost for the odd chat or coffee.

- an on-demand ear for specific problems
- a sounding board for new ideas
- helping with new business generation
- assisting in streamlining processes
